More a question of big than great

EVA: –You don’t seem to want me to take this photo, what are we going to write about this?”
OSCAR: –When I was very young, drawing classical sculptures at art school, I learnt that greatness has nothing to do with size, but with proportion. A tiny drawing by Michelangelo would have more grandeur than this colossus…
–But the colour of the marble, his gaze towards the heavens, the arm with the vein sticking out, it’s impressive, it’s undeniably imposing. And I like the way the pieces are left lying around like this and that they haven’t tried to put him back together again. It makes me want to start drawing.
–Yes, in this point, you’re right.
