Videoart is a real pain, but Viola (in spite of his exasperating tempo) is the exception. Putting a work with a sacred subject (the virgin Mary, no less) in a cathedral (Saint Paul’s, no less) is a challenge that almost no contemporary artist would come through unscathed.
